ABOUT

Satellite Mile emerges as a sonic, genre-bending dreamscape imagined into existence by Ben Love on Australia’s Gold Coast. Drawing inspiration from luminaries Depeche Mode, Peter Gabriel, and Massive Attack soundscapes unfold in multi-faceted compositions produced by Love and Peet Gardner at Brisbane’s So Soap Studios and mixed by the legendary Paul Gomersall (Kate Bush, Genesis, George Michael).

Debut album, "The Waters Edge” blends atmospheric guitar motifs, analogue synthesizers and shifting time signatures with haunting vocals, weaving a non-linear journey through time and space. First single “Recurring Dreams” bursts forth with a relentless and commanding pulse growing ever more erratic as the song progresses. Reading like the lyrical diary of a lucid dreamer, listeners are transported to "A ladder of colours igniting the dark, then silence around me” accompanied by searing synths and dystopian drone before reaching a cinematic crescendo.

Recurring Dreams is streaming now on all platforms.

The Waters Edge releases soon.
